The board has discussed not having this class and blending them in with the jr sportman champ. The plan was to institute the 3 spin rule. We want all the kids to race and have a great experience. So bring your new driver and turn them loose!

I am not familiar with the 3 spin rule, could someone please explain?? Also I have seen where some tracks put an X in tape on the back of the helmet of Rookie drivers, so the experienced drivers will be more aware when they pass them. I don't know if you could see that in a champ kart though because of the cage bars, but just an idea to maybe mark the Rookies some way if they are going to be running together.

the best way to mark a rookie champ kart would be to place yellow tape on the top bar .karts coming up from behind could see it from a distance.this is done in other types of motor sports.
